Without the meter reading part of the billing process, TNB says your upcoming bills will be estimated based on your previous month’s bill. Though with the company’s example, it looks like your bills will be exactly the same as your previous month’s. This will continue until the end of the MCO, which is when TNB will start sending meter readers out again. From there, your bills will then be adjusted to match your actual usage.

This was initially meant to only apply until 31 March, affecting only the electricity bill of one month. With the extension of the MCO, TNB has indefinitely pauses its meter reading operations. In the meantime, there are two ways for you to get your latest electricity bills. One is via the TNB website, or as the company calls it, the myTNB portal, linked below.
