The two cards will possess different read and write speeds though. Micron’s offering comes with sequential read and write speeds of 100MB/s and 95MB/s respectively, while SanDisk’s own read and write speeds are rated at 160MB/s and 90MB/s.

Designed for media content and apps, the cards support fast 4K recording. At the same time, both cards are A2 certified for app install support. SanDisk is opening pre-orders for the 1TB card, which will be priced at USD499.99 (~RM 2,033). The smaller 512GB is priced at a much more affordable USD199.99 (~RM 813). Both cards will be available from April 2019 onward. At the time of writing, Micron did not share the official pricing for its 1TB microSDXC card, but confirms Q2 2019 availability.
