Aside from excluding LTE support for the Malaysian release, the specs of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite remains mostly similar to the global version. To recap, the tablet features a 8.7-inch TFT display with a resolution of 1,340 x 800 pixels, dual Dolby Atmos enhanced speakers, and an octa-core processor which is believed to be a MediaTek Helio P22T. For the local market, the new tablet will arrive with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, as well as expanded storage support of up to 1TB via microSD.
Powering the device is a 5,100mAh battery with 15W fast charging support via USB-C. Samsung Malaysia confirmed that the corresponding charger will be included in the box, together with the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite. Other than that, it also features an 8MP rear camera, 2MP selfie shooter, Bluetooth 5.0 support, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The new tablet is priced at RM699, and is available in either Gray or Silver colourways for its rear metal cover. In conjunction with its local launch, Samsung Malaysia revealed that any purchase of the Galaxy Tab A7 Lite will come with free gifts, including a clear cover worth RM89 and a 6-month subscription to 108 Snap Learn e-book service at RM225.
Meanwhile, the brand also recently announced a new local price tag for the original Samsung Galaxy Tab A7. The tablet is now offered at only RM899 via the official Samsung Malaysia website, which is a RM100 reduction from its original launch price. (Source: Samsung Malaysia [1] [2] [3])
