Capcom has not changed when the demo window opens. This remains at 8AM, 2 May for us in Malaysia. But rather than closing at 8AM the following day, the window now remains open until 10 May. This means that the demo will still be available for at least two days after the game launches.
The original 24-hour window starting 5PM PDT May 1 (1AM BST May 2) has been increased by a week, and now ends at the same times on May 9 PDT (May 10 BST). pic.twitter.com/8VKEU8bMnu — Resident Evil (@RE_Games) April 26, 2021 Unfortunately, that’s the only details about the Resident Evil Village demo that has changed. You’ll still only get two areas to experience the Village and Castle areas, and you only get an hour with each. So while you don’t have to set a side a specific day to experience it, the time you get to do so remains the same. It’s odd that Capcom would extend the demo window by a week, but retain the limited time that you can spend in each area. Or perhaps the plan is to keep the experience short to entice people to buy the game when it becomes available on 8 May. (Source: Capcom / Twitter)
