To recap, the Redmi 9C features a 6.53-inch IPS LCD display with a resolution of 1600 x 720 px and an aspect ratio of 20:9. Internally, it is equipped with a MediaTek Helio G35, paired with 3GB RAM and an internal storage capacity of 64GB. Besides that, the device is powered by a 5,000mAh battery with 10W charging support via microUSB, includes a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, and also a 3.5mm headphone jack. Like the Redmi 9A that was released in July, the new phone also runs on Android 10 via Xiaomi’s MIUI 12 out of the box. Camera-wise, it features a triple-camera setup on its back which consists of a 13MP main shooter, 2MP depth, and a 2MP macro. Housed in a waterdrop notch on its display is a 5MP selfie camera. As with most smartphones, the 9C offers a variety of camera enhancements and AI features such as Beautification and Portrait mode. The Redmi 9C will be available nationwide at all authorised Xiaomi stores on 22 August 2020. It is priced at RM479, and is available in three colour options: Sunset Orange, Midnight Grey, and Twilight Blue.
