Like the 5G variant, the newer phone sports a notched 6.56-inch flat IPS LCD display with 720 x 1612 pixel resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. Additionally, it comes with a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, dual SIM support, stereo speakers, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. Covering a majority of the device is a plastic case that is rated IPX4 in water resistance and IP5X in dust resistance. Under the hood, the OPPO A77s is equipped with a Snapdragon 680 chipset with an onboard Adreno 610 GPU. Alongside it is a single memory configuration consisting of 8 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal UFS 2.2 storage, with support for expanded storage via microSD. Other than that, the phone also includes Android 12 via ColorOS 12.1, OPPO’s RAM Expansion feature, as well as NFC, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 5.0 connectivity. Meanwhile, powering the midranger is a standard battery capacity of 5,000 mAh, which also comes with 33 W SuperVOOC fast charging support via USB-C. According to OPPO, the device can be fully charged in just slightly over an hour. Surprisingly, the A77s features a slightly bigger primary sensor than its 5G-enabled sibling. To be more specific, housed within its rear dual camera array is a 50 MP shooter, which is paired together with a 2 MP mono sensor. Found within the notch on the phone’s display, on the other hand, is an 8MP front-facing camera for selfie and video calling needs. As confirmed by the company, the new OPPO A77s is available now via its official online stores on Shopee and Lazada.
