The OnePlus Buds Pro are the brand’s first earbuds with active noise cancellation (ANC), capable of cancelling out up to 40dB of noise. They are equipped with AirPods Pro-like stems, 11mm drivers, Dolby Atmos support, and are rated with IP55 water and sweat resistance, although the case itself only has an IPX4 rating. The Pro earbuds boast an impressive total battery life of 38 hours with ANC turned off and 28 hours with ANC enabled, while a single charge can give you up to seven hours of playback. Charging for 10 minutes will give you an extra 10 hours of playback and the case is also capable of wireless charging. The cherry on top is that the device features Dual Connection, which allows them to quickly switch connections between two devices, with support for even non-OnePlus phones. The company has also launched the Nord Buds, which initially came out in other regions earlier this year. They are a more affordable option that unfortunately lacks ANC features. They do, however, come with bigger 12.4mm drivers and call noise cancellation so people on the other side can hear you better. The earbuds have Bluetooth 5.2, support for Dolby Atmos, and are similarly rated with IP55 water and sweat resistance. As for the battery life, they can last a total of 30 hours with the case and seven hours on a single charge. The Nord Buds seem to charge a bit slower than the Buds Pro, with 10 minutes of charging netting you an additional five hours of use. Both the OnePlus Buds Pro and the Nord Buds will be going on sale on the brand’s Shopee and Lazada stores for RM799 and RM299 respectively on 19 July. In conjunction with their launch, the company is offering both audio devices at discounted prices of RM699 and RM279 for a limited time. (Source: OnePlus/Facebook)
