According to Nintendo, the game was created by a small group of company developers while working from home in Japan during self-quarantine. Jump Rope Challenge is a simple and straightforward game which utilises two Joy-Con controllers emulating jump rope handles. From there, we’re pretty sure you’d know how this game works.
— Nintendo of America (@NintendoAmerica) June 16, 2020 This would also mean that Nintendo Switch Lite users may not be able to play the game, seeing that it requires Joy-Cons. That is, unless they own a pair for whatever reason. Jump Rope Challenge will keep track of the number of skips you’ll do during a session, with the main goal of 100 jumps. That said, you can still continue to go above the benchmark if you wish, and the game will continue to keep track of your progress. You can also opt to save your records daily to see how much you’ve achieved per session in a week.
And that’s pretty much it. Well, it’s a free game after all and those interested can download the game now directly from the Nintendo eShop. (Source: Nintendo [eShop] [Twitter])
