According to tech website Windows Latest, the search bar will fully sync with Microsoft Edge, therefore enabling it to display your favourites or bookmarks, browsing history, top sites and even recent tabs from the browser. In addition, it is also able to access your mobile browsing history as long as you’re using the web browser on your smartphone or tablet as well. It’s also worth noting that this new feature is optional, meaning that the user has the ability to disable it entirely if they so wish. Disabling the integration will remove all data and browsing history shared between Microsoft Edge and Windows in order to maintain privacy. At this time, the integration is currently being tested on version 2004/20H2 of Windows 10 and Microsoft Edge Canary version 91.0831.0, but only to a small group of users. It is not known when the company is planning to roll out this new feature to the public for now. (Source: HotCakeX [Microsoft Community] / Windows Latest | Header image: Windows Latest)
