Apparently, the Taiwanese brand had licensed out its Wildfire branding to the Chinese company InOne Smart Technology. If the name of the company sounds remotely familiar, it’s probably because the company is also known for manufacturing another smartphone brand, Lava. In terms of its hardware, it seems that the Wildfire X comes in two configurations. Both variations house a MediaTek Helio P22 SoC and 3300mAh battery, but depending on your taste, one variant houses 3GB RAM and 32GB internal storage, while the other model ships out with 4GB RAM and a massive 128GB of internal storage.
Other specs of the phone include a 6.22-inch HD+ notched display, a triple-camera main array comprising a 12MP main sensor, an 8MP sensor with 2x optical zoom, and a 5MP depth sensor. The Wildfire X will available in India starting from 22 August. Price-wise, the base model of the phone retails for INR9999 (~RM586), while the model with 4GB RAM and 128GB internal storage will cost INR12999 (~RM763). There’s no word of local availability or pricing, though we do have our doubts that HTC will even launch this particular phone outside of India. (Source: XDA, The Verge)
