Equipped with sleek aluminium chassis which has a thickness of only 2cm, customers can choose to equip the new Aero 15 with Samsung AMOLED 4K display. If that’s too much to handle, the company also offers a 240Hz Full HD IGZO panel from Sharp.
Regardless of their choice, both of these display panels are individually calibrated to meet X-Rite Pantone standards which clearly showed that the Aero 15 is also targeted at creative professionals as well in addition to gamers. The webcam on the new Aero 15 is still located underneath its display but it now comes with webcam cover for privacy protection. In terms of processors, the Aero 15 can be obtained with up to Intel Core i9-9980HK together with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2080 Max-Q graphics. It is also available with up to 32GB DDR4-2666 RAM although the laptop itself is able to support up to 64GB of RAM. Just like previous Aero 15, the new model is also equipped with AI-based power efficiency manager which is powered by Microsoft Azure. A 94Whr battery which apparently able to provide it with up to 8.5 hours of battery life completes the laptop’s general specifications.
