In case you missed announcement, the authorities have set a limited timeframe for interstate travel which will take place from 7 to 10 May. Originally, only those that were stranded at their hometown are permitted to make the interstate journey during the given period but since then, additional scenarios have been also been allowed including to fetch family members back to their home. According to the current arrangement, one only to submit their travel details via Gerak Malaysia app before making the journey according to the travel schedule provided by PDRM. In fact, the Gerak Malaysia app will not generate any QR code or any permission permit once users submitted their travel details through the app. Here is our quick video guide on how to submit the travel details through Gerak Malaysia: As per our previous report, the submission can only be done with Gerak Malaysia v2.0 which already available for Android and Huawei users. For iOS users, they have to wait for the v2.0 update to be available on 7 May. However, we believe this is not the end of the story as there could be further announcements regarding this special interstate travel arrangement at a press conference that PDRM is going to held tomorrow’s afternoon. So, stay tuned for more.
