The Tactix Delta sports a rugged and sophisticated design, crafted to fulfill MIL-STD-810 military standards. On the watch is a 1.4-inch always on display with scratch-resistant sapphire lens, along with a black DLC-coated steel bezel, black PVD-coated steel rear cover, and an all-new military-inspired black tactical nylon QuickFit band with reinforced stitching and exposed black metal hardware.
Features-wise, the new smartwatch comes with various health tracking functions such as Advanced Sleep Monitoring, Pulse Ox2 and Garmin’s Body Battery. Meanwhile, typical smartwatch functions include notifications, GPS navigation, and music playback (with a storage capacity of up to 2,000 songs). The aforementioned “mission-ready” modes include night vision mode that effortlessly switches between daytime and nighttime view, and the secret agent-esque “stealth mode” which disables location sharing and wireless connectivity, and provides users with a kill switch to wipe all onboard data. Being solar powered, the new Tactix Delta is claimed to be able to last up to 21 days indoors while utilising its onboard Power Manager mode. Garmin says it can further extend that range to up to 24 days so long as the watch receives sufficient solar exposure.
The Garmin Tactix Delta Solar Edition is available now and is priced at RM 5,099. Those interested can purchase the new watch via the brand‘s official store on Lazada, Shopee, AECO e-store and all authorised retailers. (Source: Garmin Malaysia [official website])
