The leaked image first appeared on Baidu and appears to be from an internal presentation of the brand, but its main attraction is clear: a roadmap that further confirms the existence of an RTX 3080 variant with 20GB graphics memory. More importantly, the Powerpoint also shows off two other SKUs that have yet to make their official appearance: the GeForce RTX 3060, and a card with the codename PG142 SKU 0.

— HXL (@9550pro) September 23, 2020 The roadmap clearly lacks any details, but earlier rumours initially suggested that the RTX 3060 would have bear the “Ti” moniker at the back of its name, but that clearly doesn’t seem like the case here. Other rumours also speculate that the card would feature 6GB GDDR6 graphics memory and on a 192-bit memory bus. Of course, the more interesting point here is the PG142 SKU 0, which sits between the RTX 3070 and RTX 3080. Further speculation suggests that this card is set to be an RTX 3070 “Super” or “Ti” variant of the same SKU, and that it will allegedly feature 16GB GDDR6 memory. Double the amount of graphics memory that the RTX 3070 currently sports.

As exciting as it all sounds, though, it’s clear that NVIDIA currently has bigger fish to fry; the GPU brand is rushing to replenish customer orders of its GeForce RTX 3080. On top of that, it also has to develop new measure to deal with online bots and scalpers purchasing its cards and then reselling them at cutthroat prices. (Source: Twitter, Hot Hardware)
