Specifically, the day one patch comes in at a staggering 54GB, while the base game’s size measures in at 45GB. The total file size, by the way, will come up to 96.6GB, according to PlayStation Universe. Mind you, the update and base game file sizes mentioned here are just for the PlayStation 4 (PS4), with no mention of the file sizes for both the Xbox One or PC. Given this bit of news, though, it’s safe to say that the story’s going to be the same for the other two platforms.
While it may seem big, Bethesda had mentioned at length what the day one patches would bring. This includes support for Ultra-wide display, the addition of Push-To-Talk for chat, an FOV Slider, and the patching of some known bugs in-game. Fallout 76 is slated for a 14 November launch.
