One of the new lenses is the Crizal Blue UV Capture which has become the base standard for all Essilor lenses in Malaysia. Said to provide an optimal balance between blue light protection and lens clarity, these lenses are apparently able to block blue-violet and UV rays while allowing beneficial blue-turquoise light to pass through.

In addition to that, Essilor has also rolled out the Eyezen Start lenses into our market which the company originally introduced back in 2019. Designed for those who have a high level of visual fatigue symptoms, the Eyezen DualOptism technology within the Start lenses apparently allows them to be optimised according to object distance and gaze direction.   Not to forget, Essilor Malaysia has also added the Transitions Signature Gen8 lenses into its line-up. These lenses not only provide protection against harmful blue light and UV rays but were also said to have faster activation rate at up to 30% faster when compared to Gen7 lenses and takes less time to fade back to clear as well. Pricewise, the Crizal Blue UV Capture lenses start at RM 260 per pair while each pair of Eyezen Start and Transitions Signature Gen8 can be obtained from RM 600 onwards. In conjunction with the launch, Essilor Malaysia is now offering 50% discount to users that purchase a second pair of Essilor lenses until 31 October at participating Essilor-partnered optical stores throughout the country.
