The disruption comes in the form of the infamous Signal Unavailable error that usually happens due to heavy rain. However, today’s disruption took place even though the weather is sunny with clear blue skies.

Only in the second statement that was released at 6:06 PM, Astro mentioned that the outage faced by its satellite provider was the reason behind the disruption. This pretty much explained the wide appearance of the Signal Unavailable error and why the service disruption didn’t affect Astro IPTV customers as well as Astro Go users. Meanwhile, the company said that the recovery process is still ongoing although Astro has also said that most of the affected channels are now available once again.
