The video game adaptation of A Quiet Place is being made by iLLOGIKA, which has worked on a wide range of games before. Among them are the likes of Ubisoft’s battle royale Hyper Scape, the retro-styled Cuphead, mobile games Lara Croft Go and Deus Ex Go. Also involved in the development process is EP1T0ME Studios. A third member in the process of making a video game adaptation of A Quiet Place is Saber Interactive, an Embracer Group subsidiary. While it too has a long list of games it helped develop under its belt, the company is only serving as the publisher this time around. While the game’s world is based on A Quiet Place, the game itself will feature an original storyline. You’ll still get aliens that react violently to sound in the story-driven, singleplayer experience. But it’s unclear as to if this means the game will feature its own original cast of characters. No release date for now beyond a 2022 window. (Source: EP1T0ME STUDIOS via SlashGear)
