The AI model is called the NVIDIA Game Generative Adversarial Network, or GameGAN for short. Officially, and to be absolutely precise, it recreated the entire Pac-Man game with virtually nothing. Not even with the original game engine. Like all NVIDIA AI Model, GameGAN was made to watch up to 50000 episodes of the game being played before ultimately setting off to build the game. Overall, one of the researchers told us that GameGAN took a total of four days to recreate the whole Pac-Man....

The actual rumours that are currently coming out of China are that NVIDIA could try and inject the market with a fairly heavy dose of the GTX 1650 graphics card, all in an attempt to placate the ever-growing anger within PC Gamer who are unable to buy the brand’s latest Ampere-powered GPUs. If the rumours are true, it goes without saying that the move is peculiar and, given the current market demand for beefier GPUs, a little off-key, if not tone-deaf....

The news was initially reported by TweakTown, whom got the news from their source. However, when asked why the GPU maker requested to “pause production” of its AiB partner’s custom-cooled RTX 3090 Ti, the source wasn’t clear. However, thanks to Videocardz, we now know that NVIDIA’s 11th hour request seems to stem from issues with the card’s BIOS and hardware but nothing else beyond that point. The RTX 3090 Ti was first announced during CES 2022 earlier in the month, albeit briefly....

The official renders were leaked on Twitter by Germany-based serial leakster Roland Quandt (@rquandt), who also leaked in his affiliated site, WinFuture, along with a ton of alleged hardware details. For start, the OnePlus 8 Pro will have a 6.78-inch QHD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate. The renders also confirm that the phone will ditch the motorised pop-up selfie camera – used in the OnePlus 7 Pro – in favour of a punch-hole at the top corner of the display....

Specs-wise, each earbud of the OnePlus Buds houses a relatively large 13.4mm dynamic driver with a frequency response range between 20Hz and 20KHz. Additionally, driver sensitivity is rated at 97 dB ± 3dB at 1 KHz. Connectivity is handled via Bluetooth 5.0, but unsurprisingly, it also supports Fair Pair. Enabling it to be instantly connected to a corresponding OnePlus smartphone. As for supported codecs, the OnePlus Buds support AAC and SBC, but not Qualcomm’s aptX....

In the new 5G Experience In APAC’s Biggest Cities report which is based on data that was captured from 1 April to 29 June this year, Kuala Lumpur ranked second in terms of 5G download speed at 376.6Mbps. As a comparison, Seoul is just 76.5Mbps ahead of Kuala Lumpur while our capital city is up to 311.1Mbps faster than other Southeast Asian cities on the list including Singapore, Metro Manila, Bangkok, and Jakarta....

While the exact figures were not revealed in the report, Opensignal has released a chart that represented the user gain rate for five major telcos in Malaysia as well as Mobile Virtual Network Operators (MVNOs) and regional operators during the said period: As you can see from the chart, Celcom and Maxis were on the upwards trend since the start of MCO 1 in March 2020 which went on until the end of the year....

TM has recently provided a small glimpse into how the company tackles the effect of the flood on its equipment. Dubbed as the Ops Kabinet, this particular set of images apparently involved TM’s operation in Mentakab and Maran in Pahang. In general, the 5-man team deployed by TM Pahang are required to clean and repair the equipment that has been submerged during the floods in the state. If accurate, this would mean that both devices may share similarities, especially in terms of design and specifications. TweakTown reports that PS5 save files cannot be backed up via an external USB drive. This is unlike before on the PS4, where that is an option. Oddly enough, you can back up any previous gen game saves on the new gen console, which is especially strange. For example, you can still import and export a PS4 save file of Assassin’s Creed Valhalla to and from a PS5. This includes if you’re playing the game on the new console via backwards compatibility....

Much like the current Snapdragon 865 and Snapdragon 765, the Snapdragon 690 5G was designed by its parent company, in an effort to bring 5G connectivity to the mainstream and mid-range masses. Specs-wise, the Snapdragon 690 5G is an octa-core chipset running in a 2+6 core configuration. Similar to the Snapdragon 865, Qualcomm didn’t provide any in-depth details regarding both chips during the announcement today. Instead, the company only reveals bits of information with more to be made available later this week. Among such information is the fact that both chips will come with an integrated Snapdragon X52 5G modem. This in general marked the beginning of Qualcomm’s effort to provide the availability of 5G in the lower tier of the market since the Snapdragon 7-series processors are meant for the mid-range market....

The briefing revolves around 5G which is not surprising given that 2020 can be generally seen as the year for the next-gen wireless technology. Among several main topic that the company touches on is of course, its spanking flagship mobile processor, the Snapdragon 865. According to the company, plenty of brands have adopted its flagship chip which was first revealed to the world back in December 2019. In fact, some of these brands already begin to release their Snapdragon 865 5G phones into the market but what more interesting is that Qualcomm has also showed a list of upcoming phones that will carry the processor on stage....
